Bandcamp Friday Recommendations October 2026
A couple fresh album suggestions for #BandcampFriday:
Skeletor Bag is a new album by Del The Funky Homosapien and Mars Kumari, with appearances by Jel and Dose One. Shoegazy beats with Del’s oddball flow.
Doom Scroll takes that crusty folk-punk style of bands like Blackbird Raum, and adds a poppy almost ska sound to it. Honestly, this works much better than I thought it would. They have a new album coming out in 4 days, but this EP is a great intro
⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ (aka Wingdings) is a side project from Four Tet. Shudder To Think released a short EP that sounds like it could have come straight out of their Pony Express sessions in 1995. It sounds great and the band says a new album is in the works.
San Francisco rapper Rocky Rivera has teamed up with Fatgums on your new ep. “Analog Girl” is a great track to start off with. Released exclusively on Bandcamp for #BandcampFriday.
Agriculture have just released a live version of their album A Spiritual Sound and it’s fantastic! Perhaps even better than the album version? No, that can’t be true, but it sounds fantastic! I love the spiritual sound of ecstatic black metal!
The first time I heard Spacemoth, I thought it was some unreleased Stereolab track. I’ve been loving this album and the combination of grunge rock with funky stereo sounds.
Netherwilds dresses as a peasant and shares funny short form videos. Then one day, he drops an absolutely fantastic song called Return the Goat. Then he announces a whole album coming in a week and honestly, it might be the metal album of the year. Yes it’s a gimmick album, but so are some of my other favorite metal albums… I’m so hyped for this.
