That seemed like the only rational response available. The infection numbers haven't come down so I still wear the mask and take the precautions, because that remains the only rational response available. This seems like a trivially easy decision problem compared to most things one has to decide as an adult, and yet......

Like, do people one day decide they're going to stop using umbrellas when it rains, because six solid years of umbrellas is just too much? Everyone else is wet so they're OK being wet too? Let's see everyone's rain-soaked smile? It's weird.
