I was struck by a sudden realization that #Debian with #XFCE is my son's very first experience with computers, which will probably shape his expectation about how computers should work for the rest of his life.

I think my first one was Commodore 64 (very short one, I think I've played with it few times max but I remember crying when my parents were selling it, so I must have been somewhat attached to it) and Windows 95, this one I remember much more.
