I've found #FishShell on https://noai.starlightnet.work/list.html and decided to install it again on my computers. Fact that it is written in Rust now, helped a little bit too 😅 I used to use it in the past and remembered, that it was super nice for interactive use and its syntax was much, much more sane than POSIX one IMHO.
The reason I've stopped installing and using it over time, was that I've learned enough to be somewhat productive in Bash for typical daily tasks, without checking every single thing on internet. And I'm writing my scripts to be compatible with POSIX (without bashisms). I still need to check more uncommon things on internet though…
But Fish has some nice features and it is standing against AI now. I have heard that Zsh have them + POSIX compatibility, but it requires more configuration. I'll probably check Zsh in future, if it is anti-slop enough, too.
But for now I'm enjoying this super nice autocompletion with parameters' descriptions when I'm using tab key 🤩
