I think, it's near impossible to completely avoid using slop-contaminated programs nowadays. It's sad, but I think few slop commits doesn't mean that whole project will suddenly become unmaintainable, buggy mess, or I hope so… It depends on maintainers willing to keep code quality in check. We had "programmers" copy-pasting code from SO without understanding it before. Instead of doomerism, I prefer to celebrate existence of the remaining few anti-AI projects, and whatever possible choosing #NoAI alternatives.
