A Russian ballistic attack burned several rows of stalls at Kyiv’s Pochaina book market on 16 August. Three people were injured during the night's attack. It is at least the third fire to damage the market or adjoining trading rows since mid-June.
Russian attacks have hit publishers, printing plants, warehouses, libraries, and bookshops, destroying more than 10 million books in recent months.
