Hi blog friends! Hope this update finds you well. Due to still reeling from a  kerfuffled online grocery ordering experience courtesy of Walmart.com, and a wordPress related server-side blog error that Paul and I feel ill-equipped and unable to resolve on our own, we’re navigating a little more stress and confusion then we usually do right now – but other than that, we’re doing OK. We finished our decluttering project and are now striving to maintain the freshened up home and living space we created for ourselves and others who might visit. Very challenging when you feel like you “don’t have the bandwidth” for that right now.

On the upside – the universe has been kind to treat us to a few more trips than usual outside, some good meals and some good TV shows, and a good movie too – Song Sung Blue with Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman. Those who enjoy quirky kitch type decor and storylines and love Neil Diamond or his music might like it.

Yesterday we enjoyed Arby’s for lunch. Our meals were top-notch – so much so that Paul and I are still dreaming about them today. Everything tasted so very good, didn’t leave us feeling compromised, ill or sick in any way, and we’re still feeling full and satiated from them this morning. We can’t say the same about much of the other food we’ve eaten, even the yummy tasting guac’d up taco I enjoyed from Del Taco the other day.

My Cute Snail coloring pages are still available as FREE downloads for those who would like them. The August back to school “Yay! Yay! It’s my first day!” edition of The Cute Snail Digest newsletter”) will be published this Friday 7/31. Look for it here if you’re on the hunt for old school inspired screen free creative activities to keep minds and hands busy.

Thank you for reading and see you  again next Tuesday. How are you doing? Let me know in the comments or in a text message or email

❤️ Juliet

IMAGE ID: a picture of my old reliable “I bought it at Fred Meyer before I married” silverware tray that I originally put in the Goodwill bin in favor of trying a new “drawer organization system”contraption (ironically for accessibility reasons) that didn’t work nearly as well as this peaceful, lovely, simple, beautifully designed basic staple that’s been around for years. By the way, all silverware and utensils in the tray were cleaned with hot water and a nice soak in some Polident denture tabs. I like how they left everything looking so shiny and feeling so clean – and minty fresh.
