New blog post: "Programming is NOT hard"

https://schafe-sind-bessere-rasenmaeher.de/tech/programming-is-not-hard/

Epic says "programming is hard", but I call bullshit! I don't think anything I wrote here hasn't been said before, but I've had the itch to write this ever since I read that stupid headline.

@irgndsondepp Agreed with everything you said.
In my case in particular I don't say "X is hard" just to say I suck at something. Some times it is also an implied recognition of the effort others put into mastering it.
For example, I often say that teaching is hard. By that I don't only mean that I have little patience and terrible communication skills. It is also my way of acknowledging that people who are good at teaching have those in abundance.

@irgndsondepp i'd boost this twice if i could. your observations on the toxic mindsets that make easy things hard are spot on. what's hard is confronting them.
