My kid just asked an interesting question. Are there any Rock or Metal bands out there that do not have drums?
I can't imagine how that would work. I guess Van Canto would qualify as a pure a capella band, but otherwise...
Drum machines as a replacement don't count.
Any ideas?

@irgndsondepp Sunn O)))!!! Not everyone's cup of tea but definitely heavy and no discernable beat.

@irgndsondepp Billy Bragg's first few albums come to mind, although he's a singer-songwriter, not really a band. but he does sound like rock n roll without drums.

@irgndsondepp wondering if the Nick Drake records like Pink Moon have any - don't think so. Trying to remember, been a while. Not much, if they do.
