Every release begins with a Single/EP/Album name or the coverart: a digital image, a drawing, or a photograph. From either, I forward the sound.
The artwork must contain three distinct layers of meaning.
The sound follows my instincts as an artisan, shaped by extensive experience in counterculture and art circles, and years spent selecting electronic music.
Every sound is a (counter)inversion of the artwork. The sound inverts and reinterprets the image, but remains a coherent fit of the whole release.
Think of a continuous exchange between sound and image.
