no time
he doesn't know he'll be loved and remembered many times longer than he lives
a lot can change over 17 years it feels like yesterday we just brought you home you and your sister, you both came home together you were the friendly one.
you loved the attention no matter who it was, you always wanted someone to give you something when you were young, it was either affection or something to play with in all honesty, it would annoy us.
as you grew older, i changed my life several times over first, i went to a far off university you were always happy to see me whenever i came home you barely changed.
when you started getting up there in age, we became very worried about you you became sedentary you stopped wanting attention it was around the time your sister went to the cat bed in the sky.
the last couple years of your life, something suddenly changed you started moving again you started wanting attention again and strangely enough, you became a voracious eater.
you used to have problems holding your food in, not anymore you used to never jump up on things, now we had to move you out of the way you started being annoying again we loved it.
i knew when i left to change my life that i was likely not to see you again i hate that i was right at least i made sure to say goodbye.
you lived a long and happy life it probably could not have ended in a better way.
may you be remembered longer than you lived.
