The mysterious source from which spiritual and physical longings come, open me to a pure vulnerability. As long as I don’t cave in. As long as I don’t fight the feeling. Then. Then, these longings invite me to shed veils covering body and soul.
The longer I practice a healthy, consensual vulnerability in spirit and body, the more my awareness of the intimacy they open me to grows and refines.
If I find attracted to beauty, I direct that desire into a deeper source, into my heart. There my desire unfolds into a loving embrace of not just that beauty but the ground we’re walking on, the wind waving through trees, the thundering clouds raining down on us.
As I continue on my way, I am not trembling from the thunder but feeling its vibrations. I am not cowering from raindrops but enjoying their rhythm. I am not judging my desires but uniting them in my yearning for Oneness.
