The Technology News & Literature portfolio at the Alamy photo agency has new images of political and media figures available for download. Photos of Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and television journalist Catherine Herridge were captured and added to our collections in late July 2026.
Sen. Cortez Masto spoke on 29 July at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. about legislation she introduced to address the needs of long-term undocumented residents of the U.S. Cortez Masto said the proposed Fairness for Immigrant Families Act provides a pathway to citizenship for long-term undocumented residents, limits their detention time for immigration infractions, and cracks down on fraudulent immigration law representatives called notarios.
Herridge — who reported on national security and intelligence matters for ABC News, Fox News, and CBS News — read a statement at a 21 July National Press Club event on press freedom about her pending Federal civil contempt case. In that case, she refuses to disclose sources of her reporting at Fox News in 2017, for which a Federal court imposes fines of $800 a day. Herridge says her legal team plans to appeal the case, with its First Amendment implications, to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The new photos of Sen. Cortez Masto and Herridge are found in the TechNewsLit portfolio at the Alamy photo agency. That portfolio also has separate collections for recent photos of government and political leaders, as well as media and business notables.
