New on YouTube and the National Press Club web site: The new Update-1 podcast with veteran photojournalist Ken Hawkins, enhanced with a synchronized slideshow of his photos. Hawkins is a participant in this year's NPC members photo exhibit, continuing through 30 Sept.
In the podcast and video, Hawkins tells about some of the photos he’s showing in this year’s NPC members exhibit, as well as memorable experiences from decades covering Jimmy Carter starting with his election as governor or Georgia. Hawkins also describes his current support for a new school in eastern Kenya, with photos from recent visits to that country.
Update-1 is the official podcast of the National Press Club, with Hawkins’s interview conducted by NPC Broadcast-Podcast co-chair Adam Konowe. The podcast audio with Ken Hawkins was first posted on 12 Sept. TechNewsLit CEO Alan Kotok produced the podcast+slideshow video.
